About the Historic 1908 Courthouse Foundation
The Historic 1908 Courthouse Foundation is a non-profit, 501 (c) (3) corporation whose mission is to preserve and maintain the 1908 Courthouse in Independence, VA for furture generations. The Foundation also operates the building for the benefit of the people of Grayson County.
The Foundation is administered by a Board of Directors. There are typically 10 to 16 board members at any time. Board meetings are held at least 4 times a year.
Officers serve 2 year terms and are elected by the Board of Directors at the annual meeting, held in March.
The Foundation office is located on the first floor of the 1908 Courthouse.
