Join the "Friends of the Historic 1908 Courthouse"
Donations continue to be the life blood of everything the Foundation does in its efforts to keep the doors open on this outstanding building. Board members donate time and expertise managing the day to day operations, planning community events and searching for funding. Monetary donations are accepted from individuals/business interested in historical preservation, and from financial campaigns instituted by the Foundation for specific projects and building maintenance. Today, the Courthouse Foundation has a leadership role in the community by promoting tourism, the talented artists and artisans of the region and retail development around Courthouse Square. Over 25,000 people walked through our doors last year.

The Historic 1908 Courthouse Foundation has been used as a model for several other communities interested in preserving their heritage. We are proud of the success of our endeavors and are continuing our commitment to the preservation of this building and other historical preservation projects throughout the county. As a generation passes before us and we move into a new millennium, the goals of the present Foundation Board are the same goals of the first Courthouse Foundation; To Preserve Our Legacy For Future Generations.
